Order Rodentia; Family Muridae; Scientific name: Zyzomys argurus; Common name: Common Rock rat – Distribution in Australia: in northern Australia to south of the Tropic of Capricorn from Ashburton, Pilbara and   Kimberley Regions in Western Australia through northern third of the Northern Territory to central eastern Queensland.
