Common name: Confusing Austroicetes – Adult grasshopper - Distribution in Australia: Found in all mainland states except the Northern Territory; absent north of the Tropic of Capricorn and throughout most of Queensland - Photographed in April, in Lake Cronin Nature Reserve east of Hyden, Western Australia.
