Family Osteoglossidae – Bony Tongues; Scientific name: Scleropages leichardi; Common name: Saratoga; Alternative common name: Spotted Barramundi – Distribution in Australia: a freshwater fish with a very limited distribution, occurring naturally only in upper reaches of Fitzroy River in central eastern Queensland; has been introduced into few other rivers in Qld - Conservation status: VULNERABLE SPECIES due to its restricted distribution.
